ETETRIS.COM
                     INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
 
 
INTRODUCTION:
 
ETETRIS.COM is an executable file for use with any Compaq computer
that is experiencing screen flicker when running the program ETETRIS.EXE.
 
 
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
 
Any Compaq computer with EGA video.
 
 
WHO SHOULD USE:
 
Use the program is you are experiencing screen flicker when running
the program ETETRIS.EXE.  This flicker is usually experienced at mode speed
common, however, this does not have to be the case.
 
 
HOW TO USE:
 
1.  Copy the program ETETRIS.COM from the distribution disk to the
    directory containing the program ETETRIS.EXE.
 
2.  To run the patch, simply type "etetris" at the dos prompt as you
    normally would when running the game.
 
3.  Nothing needs to be done to your CONFIG.SYS or AUTOEXEC.BAT.
 
4.  No message will appear when the patch is successfully executed.
 
 
EFFECTS ON YOUR SYSTEM: 
 
1.  The only effect on your system will be that while the game is
    running it will occupy approximately 800 more bytes of
    system memory.
 
2.  Once the game is completed, the patch will remove itself from
    memory.
