INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
INTRODUCTION:
NWCEMM.COM and CINSTALL.BAT allows NewWave to be installed with CEMM
as the expanded memory manager for Windows/NewWave.
NWCEMM.COM is a TSR. CINSTALL.BAT loads NWCEMM in memory, calls the
original INSTALL.BAT file and then removes NWCEMM.COM from memory
when the installation is complete.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
Any Compaq computer which supports Windows 3.0 and H.P.'s NewWave 3.0.
WHO SHOULD USE:
Use this program if you want to install NewWave with Compaq's CEMM
installed.
HOW TO USE:
1. Copy the programs NWCEMM.COM and CINSTALL.BAT from the
distribution diskette to the root directory of your NewWave
installation diskette.
2. Type "CINSTALL" rather than "INSTALL" to install NewWave.
EFFECTS ON YOUR SYSTEM:
NWCEMM.COM, which is loaded by CINSTALL, will take 480 bytes of RAM
during the installation process. After installation is complete,
CINSTALL will automatically unload NWCEMM.COM from memory, returning
your computer to its original state.
