Indien de radio voorzien is van ISO-stekkers en een lijnuitgang heeft werkt deze vrijwel zeker in combinatie met deze eenheid. Het zijn namelijk niet alleen slede-radio&#8217;s die passen maar ook de radio&#8217;s met ISO-vergrendeling passen perfect in deze behuizing waardoor je de radio ook vast in kunt bouwen.<\/p>\n<p>Philips omschrijft dit accessoire overigens alleen als optie voor de <a href=\"philips-dc-682\">DC 682<\/a>, DC 695, <a href=\"philips-dc-764\">DC 764<\/a> en <a href=\"philips-dc-794\">DC 794<\/a> zoals te zien in <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20160813014155\/http:\/\/www.mfbfreaks.nl\/folders\/1990\/2\/imagepages\/image228.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">nummer 2 van het Philips Magazine uit 1990\/1991 (negende jaargang) (op mfbfreaks.nl via Archive.org)<\/a>. In voorgaande en opvolgende nummers is deze eenheid niet langer te vinden of staat omschreven met een minder aantal geschikte modellen. Het overzicht uit het eerdergenoemde Philips Magazine lijkt dan ook het meest complete overzicht voor deze eenheid.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nUitneembare eenheid met 2 \u00d7 25 W versterker<br \/>\nBruikbaar voor sets met dubbel antennesysteem (antenna diversity)<br \/>\n<em>(vertaling van de informatie op de doos)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Bron: <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/0\/http:\/\/members.ziggo.nl\/t.posthuma\/mijncarstereo.htm\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Informatie over EA 6024 op webpagina van liefhebber (T. Posthuma) van het Philips Car Stereo-programma via Internet Archive<\/a>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Zoals hierboven te lezen valt (en afkomstig is van de doos) zou deze versterker een 2\u00d725 Watt versterker moeten bevatten. Op de behuizing in mijn bezit staat echter 4\u00d725 Watt en zowel de speakeruitgangen voor als achter zijn aangesloten. Dit werkt als volgt.<br \/>\nBij diverse radio&#8217;s van Philips kunnen de speakers op twee manieren worden aangesloten. Echter door de aansluitingen te veranderen kun je er ook 2\u00d730 Watt uithalen. Wanneer je maar 2 speakers aan wilt sluiten heeft het verkiezen van een <a href=\"philips-dc-722\">DC 722<\/a> dan ook geen meerwaarde boven een DC 712. Pas wanneer je 4 speakers wilt aansluiten is de DC 722 een interessante keuze.<br \/>\nVan het gegeven dat je het uitgangsvermogen bij gebruik van twee speakers kan verhogen maakt deze eenheid gebruik. De voorste twee speakers komen namelijk direct uit de radio daar deze, zij het met de speaker-configuratie voor twee speakers, een-op-een wordt doorgegeven aan de uitgang van de eenheid. De achterste twee speakers worden door een extra versterker in de eenheid gestuurd en het signaal hiervoor wordt opgepakt van de lijnuitgang.<\/p>\n<h2>Bruikbaar met de volgende Niet alle afgebeelde radio&#8217;s hebben deze aansluiting fabrieksaf.<\/p>\n<h2>Antenneaansluiting<\/h2>\n<p>De Philips EA 6024 werkt alleen met een radio met ISO-antenneaansluiting. Voor radio&#8217;s met een DIN-antenneaansluiting bestaat een adapter om deze om te bouwen. Of deze adapter onderdeel is van de Philips EA 6024, bij de radio geleverd werd of los te koop was is voor mij onbekend. Zoals eerder vermeld kwam mijn eenheid in combinatie met de <a href=\"\/autoradios\/autoradios\/philips-dc\/philips-dc-682\/\">Philips DC 682<\/a> en was uiteraard voorzien van deze adapter (met torx-schroef). Een andere radio waar deze adapter opzat was de <a href=\"\/autoradios\/autoradios\/philips-dc\/philips-dc-681\/\">Philips DC 681 (z\u00f3nder mono-schakelaar)<\/a> (deze kwam met een De mantel van de bekabeling is van silicone gemaakt en is na 30 jaar (1990-2020) volledig uitgehard waardoor deze er letterlijk vanaf viel.
